Camping by Nisser
Our 3-star campsite features two service buildings—the newest from 2001—equipped with modern facilities such as toilets, an accessible toilet, showers, a laundry room with a washing machine, a drying room, a disposal station for chemical toilets, and an outdoor kitchen. We offer electrical hookups for 80 caravans and a dedicated playground with trampolines. The campsite is ideal for families, individuals, and groups of all ages, and is well-suited for wheelchair users. Enjoy shallow beaches, small islands, and smooth rocks directly from the site, as well as opportunities for trout fishing from the piers or a boat. We are happy to help plan your tailor-made stay. No pre-booking is required for tent/caravan/motorhome pitches—we have room for everyone! For cabins, you must book in advance to secure a spot.

At Nisser Hyttegrend og Camping, you will find a wide range of activities to suit all ages and interests. Experience exciting water sports by renting jet skis, motorboats, canoes, and SUP boards. Enjoy cycling along scenic routes or try trail riding at Gautefall and Canvas Hotel. We are located 30 minutes away from the famous potholes (Jettegrytene). For the adventurous, Nissedal offers challenging climbing routes on its unique smooth rock faces. You can also explore beautiful hiking paths, and during the winter season, look forward to skiing and ice fishing. About Nisser Hyttegrend og Camping
Nisser Hyttegrend og Camping is proudly run by the Berggren family, who took over the farm in 2014 with the goal of continuing the family-friendly campsite and sharing beautiful Nissedal with more people. Originally established by Åshild's father, Bjarne Reime, in 1985, the campsite has developed with traditional log buildings made from local timber. We live in the house by the water's edge, and you will often see us running, cycling, or driving between the reception and the house. Our dedication to the place and our guests creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
